I’ve come to the realization that my Mac Studio’s password prompt taking almost 5 seconds to appear is due to it waiting for my Apple Watch, which I’m not currently wearing. Turning off Watch unlock makes it pop up instantly. So now I’m deciding if I’d like to give up other watch auth for this 🤔
