Maybe it’s because I’m generally not on social media much now, but am I crazy in looking around wondering why more people aren’t totally psyched that there are four people on their way to the moon right now?
Literally something that hasn’t happened in my (millennial) lifetime.
I showed the Artemis II live tracker to Hannah and she said, with the perfect amount of sincerity: “Oh! In space. Just where I thought they’d be.”

As much as I love my MacBook Neo for nearly everything I was using my iPad for, the iPad YouTube experience is the GOAT. I don’t know why I’ve been signed out of YouTube in Safari at least 3 times in the two weeks I’ve had this thing.
Discovering status.lol in the midst of this Micro.blog stuff is stupidly delightful. I’m embedding my most recent status on my blog’s homepage and treating it like OG Twitter. Honestly selecting the emoji is the funnest part.
The MacBook Neo might be one of my favorite Macs ever. Equally important in my computing setup as my Mac Studio. But this thing is everything I wanted it to be. Held out for over a year. Totally worth it.
The more time I spend away from social media, the more disgusted I am by all of it the second I revisit one of my feeds. The algorithms really are just fueled by rage.
