I’m a lefty, and the hotkeys in Silhouette are mostly concentrated on the left end of the keyboard, which as resulted in this layout for me when doing roto.

Finally picked up a Wacom remote so I can be more comfortable. But trying to retrain 20+ years of muscle memory is a challenge 😬

My biggest worry as the Artemis program started sending people into space was how these moon missions will be talked about in the age of social media and… boy howdy is it going to be rough. I truly detest what this shit has done to our collective intelligence.

No, I’m not going to upgrade my Mac Studio to Tahoe just to fix AirDrops to my MacBook Neo and better SMB reliability. I’m going to complain that Apple won’t deploy those fixes to Sequoia because THAT’S WHAT I DO HERE.

Earth from Artemis II!

I’m absolutely enamored by this shot of Earth from Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman. If you download the file from NASA, it has the Exif data which shows an ISO of 51,200 and exposure time of 1/4-second. The auroras in the upper right… chef’s kiss

Maybe it’s because I’m generally not on social media much now, but am I crazy in looking around wondering why more people aren’t totally psyched that there are four people on their way to the moon right now?

Literally something that hasn’t happened in my (millennial) lifetime.

I showed the Artemis II live tracker to Hannah and she said, with the perfect amount of sincerity: “Oh! In space. Just where I thought they’d be.”

As much as I love my MacBook Neo for nearly everything I was using my iPad for, the iPad YouTube experience is the GOAT. I don’t know why I’ve been signed out of YouTube in Safari at least 3 times in the two weeks I’ve had this thing.

Discovering status.lol in the midst of this Micro.blog stuff is stupidly delightful. I’m embedding my most recent status on my blog’s homepage and treating it like OG Twitter. Honestly selecting the emoji is the funnest part.
